PSG identifies £180m left-footed star to replace Neymar

Ligue 1 champions, Paris Saints-Germain have identified £180million Atletico Madrid sensational left-footed forward, Antoine Griezmann as Neymar’s successor.

Neymar have been heavily linked with a return to La Liga to join Real Madrid since he left Barcelona in 2017.

According to Daily Star, PSG have accepted that the Brazilian international will join the los Blancos sooner or later.

The report claimed that the Parisians, instead of wasting time in trying to change the 26-year-old’s mind, they have been working on finding his future replacement.

The report also claimed that the player they have identified to step into Neymar’s boots is Atletico Madrid star, Antoine Griezmann, who is expected to cost over £180million.

Griezmann almost joined Barcelona this summer before he changed his mind and signed a new deal at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid coach, Diego Simeone has admitted he would rather sign Neymar ahead of Kylian Mbappe.

“In the Barcelona team of Luis Enrique, when he needed to work, he worked,” he said.

“Mbappe is more individualistic and doesn’t have a definitive role. Neymar has a fixed position.”
